Workshops for Middle and High-Ranking Civil Servants

The Civil Service Development Institute is responsible for on-the-job trainings of middle and high-ranking civil servants within the Executive Yuan and its affiliated central and local agencies. In order to enhance training effectiveness, a continuous review of the required competencies for middle and high- ranking civil servants has been conducted over the years, leading to the addition and adjustment of training programs. Based on this assessment, a framework for on-the-job trainings of middle and high- ranking civil servants has been established. Evaluation activities are planned based on the characteristics of each class, strengthening the knowledge and skills related to essential management competencies of public servants. The relevant workshops are as follows:

  1. Workshops for high-ranking civil servants: National Governance Workshop, Executive Leadership Workshop, Local Government Leadership Workshops, Public Governance Workshops, and Issue Management Workshops.
  2. Workshops for mid-ranking civil servants: Section Chief Competency Workshops (Basic/Advanced), Workshops for Executive Officers, Workshops for Junior Supervisors, and Workshops for Senior Officers.
