To strengthen the management capacities of first-level supervisors and improve their execution and communication skills, the Civil Service Development Institute (CSDI) initiated this workshop for first-level supervisors in 2018, targeting first-level supervisors from central and local government agencies. In response to the COVID-19 pandemic and to enhance the digital technology capabilities of first-level supervisors, a virtual class (in distance format) for them was launched in 2021.
This practical-based workshop employed diverse teaching approaches, incorporating problem-based learning (PBL), case studies, group discussions, practical case visits, experiential learning, and learning outcome presentations. The participants are expected to be able to apply the knowledge and skills acquired from it to their work, through which the public sector’s governing capacity will be elevated.
