On May 8, 2026, the Civil Service Development Institute (CSDI) under the Directorate-General of Personnel Administration, Executive Yuan, and the University of Taipei (UT) signed a Memorandum of Understanding to establish a formal cross-sector partnership. Both parties agree to initiate multiple collaborative programs as specified below:
- Integrating UT’s teaching resources to enrich the content of our training programs. More diverse and forward-looking themes will be incorporated therein.
- Combining both institutions’ resources and R&D capacities to offer digital courses and advance the development of learning platforms, thus enhancing the participants’ learning outcomes.
- Promoting knowledge flow and talent cultivation through cultural and artistic events, pedagogical sandboxes, and other relevant activities.
In the foreseeable future, CSDI will integrate UT’s professional expertise in the humanities and arts, sports sciences, digital learning, and continuing education. By leveraging these cross-sector resources, we will inject greater momentum for innovation into Taiwan’s civil service training system. The ultimate goal of this partnership is to improve Taiwanese civil servants’ professionalism and learning effectiveness.
